Why, might you ask is this here when we already have Facebook, email, Instagram and postcards informing every one of the activities?

I think that depends on each of you.

Rather than this being one individual’s effort as in the old tradition of a newsletter, we want this to be created by the community and open to the community. We will show you how to contribute articles, photos and more in the coming months. Of course, this gateway will need to be moderated to adhere to the lofty and sacred Bahá’í standards.

Here are a few things I hope to do. New issues of The Connection will be an eclectic mix of short biographies, historical events, stories, reviews, links to exceptional Bahá’í related and created videos and websites. Stories from the pioneers around the world and stories from many voices about what is flourishing and challenging. We will have articles related to the basic tenets of the Faith and ancillary topics in addition.

As we start this vehicle it will be vital to gain subscribers to receive our free email. We are requesting that this email listing be shared with Bahá’ís and friends of the Faith too, however, submissions for publication in The Bahá’í Connection and for the Community Bulletin Board will only be accepted from Bahá’ís at this time.
